Quest for the Purple Gem was a play on Pixie Hollow Online performed at Fairy Tale Theater. It was released on April 8, 2010 until June 20, 2010 and re-released on September 13, 2011 until November 9, 2011. It featured three fairies named Flitter, Flutter, and Flap on their quest for the purple gem. Costumes for the characters were available at Cassie's Costume Shop.

FLITTER: "We found the Speaking Sands Desert!"
FLUTTER: "Is the famous Purple Gem really here?"
FLAP: "Guys, I’m thirsty."
(Use Coconut Prop)
FLITTER: "Let’s open this coconut. We can drink the milk inside."
FLUTTER: "Wait! There’s a picture on the coconut!"
FLAP: "Looks like a flower."
FLUTTER: "Hey, there’s a flower just like it over there!"
FLAP: "It must be a clue!"
FLITTER: "Let’s check out the real flower!"

FLUTTER: "Wow! Where did that arrow come from?"
FLITTER: "It pointed to that sand dune!"
FLAP: "What kind of clue is a sand dune?"
FLITTER: "Hey, what if it’s true?"
FLUTTER: "What if what’s true?"
FLITTER: "That the sand dunes in this desert can TALK!"
FLAP: "Sand can’t talk, silly."
FLITTER: "Maybe we just need to say the magic word."
FLUTTER: "Okay abracadabra! Hocus-pocus!"
FLAP: "Daisy!"
FLUTTER: "Daisy?"
FLAP: "I like daisies."
FLITTER: "How about ... SPEAK!"

SAND DUNE: "YOU SEEK THE PURPLE GEM!"
FLAP: "Wow, that’s a smart sand dune."
FLITTER: "Yes, O Sand Dune, we seek the Purple Gem."
SAND DUNE: "THE GEM IS WITHIN YOUR REACH."
FLAP: "I don’t think we can reach it."
SAND DUNE: "BUT ONLY THE CLEVER MAY FIND IT."
FLUTTER: "What must we do, O great Sand Dune?"
SAND DUNE: "ANSWER A RIDDLE TO PROVE YOUR CLEVERNESS."
FLAP: "We can do that!"
SAND DUNE: "WHAT IS AIR TO A FISH?"
FLAP: "Okay, maybe we can’t."
FLITTER: "I know the answer! Air to a fish is ... WATER!"
FLUTTER: "And there’s a pond over there!"
FLITTER: "I see something purple in it!"
FLAP: "Wow, you guys are smarter than the sand dune!"

SAND DUNE: "THE GEM IS YOURS, BRAVE AND CLEVER FAIRIES!"
FLUTTER: "We did it! We found the Purple Gem!"
